Brocolli in White Sauce from Roo’s kitchen!
Brocolli in White Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
Brocolli – broken into florets
Milk – ½ litre
Maida – 2-3 table spoons
Butter 2 spoons
Salt – to taste
Pepper – to taste
Method
Cut the broccoli into florets and boil it in water containing salt.
Take the maida and mix it in a small amount of milk to make liquidy paste (make sure there are no lumps)
Start heating the milk and butter in a wok and add the milk and maida liquid to it.
Keep Stirring to prevent lumps.
Add salt and pepper and allow the milk to thicken
Add the florets of broccoli and heat for a bit.
Serve hot with toast!
U can replace broccoli with mushroom (sauté it instead of boiling in water)
Didn't consider dunking in some mushrooms? Or paneer? Or both? I never know how much maida to add to milk while making white sauce for pasta – hopefully the measurements you've given work put well 🙂
sure .. try n lemme know too .. 🙂
