Here’s another favourite recipe of mine that is very simple, the French Toast! But beware this is one of those fragile recipes that can get screwed easily when not done the right way! I can live on eggs all my life.. done in anyway and die in bliss! The only reason i ll ever have breakfast. Being an eggetarian, its probably the only sin i ve committed without feeling bad for…and i jus dono wat ll my life b without eggs! So here it is French Toast reicpe from my kitchen…
French Toast Recipe
Bread – 5 to 6 slices
Eggs – 2
Milk – 1/2 cup
Salt – a very very small pinch
Sugar – 1 tsp
Butter – 1 or 2 tsp
Maple syrup or honey
Vanilla essence – 1/4 tsp (optional)
In a bowl, beat the eggs with a beater/fork well.
Add the milk, sugar, salt and vanilla essence to it and beat some more.
Dip the bread into the mixture and toast till they turn golden brown on a toaster or a skillet.
If you are using a skillet, make sure you grease it with some butter before you place the bread.
Serve hot with butter and maple syrup/honey/jam along with your morning cuppa!
You can ever add fruits along with the syrup it make it more rich and filling!
