Homemade Instant Naan Recipe
Maida (All-purpose Flour) – 2 cups
Milk -1/2 cup
Egg – 1 no.
Curd (Yogurt) – 1/2 cup
Butter – 4 tbsp
Baking Powder – a pinch
Salt and Sugar to taste
Water as required
Whisk the butter, sugar and egg well, add milk.
Mix in the maida slowly without letting lumps formation.
Add salt in the water and mix well, mix in the water uniformly all over the dough.
Bring in the curd and baking powder, add some more butter and knead well.
Once the dough is soft and moisturous, keep it aside for an hour or more.
Make small balls out of the dough and roll into rotis.
Heat a tawa, place the naan, keep flipping.
Serve hot with a spicy north indian gravy.
For best results, keep pressing the naan with a wet cloth while on the tawa.
