Our superstar ‘quick-recipe queen’ chef Nits 😀 has come up with one more quick fix for the summer (wen is it not summer in chennai?) and a very big change from the regular recipes on this blog.. its a drink! Who wouldnt love the lemon and mint juice, perfectly iced (except the pudina haters maybe) in super hot n humid places like urs! Am sure its the next highest selling drink in city cafes to cold coffees and fresh juices.. well this is undeniably an interesting n refreshing juice easily made at home, cafe-style! Let’s c how Nits’ makes her Lemon Mint Cooler in her ktichen…
Lemon Mint Cooler Recipe
Ingredients
Lemon – 4 tp 5 – cut in halves
Pudina (Mint) Leaves – 1 cup – washed and chopped well
Sugar – 4 tsp
Water and ice
Method
Remove the seeds off the lemon, sqeeze it and retain the juice.
Add the lemon juice, pudina leaves and sugar in a blender.
Add two glasses of water and lotsa ice to it.
Operate the blender in quick pulses until the pudina/mint leaves are well ground.
Filter the juice, adjust sugar or water as required for your taste.
