This one is a quick recipe, my very own creation in times of emergency. Well, u have a lota ripe mangoes lying around the house this season and get tired of mango shakes and mango pachadi, here is wat is the product! In times of desperation for something tangy and sweet and spicy at the same time, here it is, mango curry from my kitchen for you!
Mango Curry Recipe
Ingredients
Ripe mango – 1 or 2, peeled and cut into squares
Oil – 2 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp
Green chilli – 1 or 2
Coconut – 1/4 cup, grated
Salt to taste
Method
Drop a little oil in a kadai, add the mustards and the green chillies (slit half way thro).
Once they are done, add the mangoes and sautee after adding very little salt.
When the mango is cooked well and seems mashed, add the coconut and mix well.
Serve as a side dish to anything like sambar, rasam, or curd rice.
