So here it is easy and best more kuzhambu recipe from my mom’s kitchen…
More Kuzhambu Recipe
Ingredients
Curd/Yoghurt/Buttermilk – 1 cup
Coconut – 1/2 cup – grated
Green chillies – 2 or 3
Jeera (Cumin seeds) – 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Methi (Fenugreek seeds) – 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves – a few
Salt to taste
Oil to saute
Method
Add a little water to the curd and stir into a uniform consistency, keep aside. (You may use buttermilk which will make the kuzhambu more watery tho, i like it thicker)
Take a little oil in a pan, splutter the mustard seeds, add the turmeric powder and methi, saute.
Fry the curry leaves a little.
Grind the coconut, jeera and chillies into a paste and add to the pan, saute.
Add the curd now and mix well.
Cook for very few minutes until the more kuzhambu gets foamy on the surface.
Do not overcook, since we are using curd.
You may add any vegetable like Vendakai (Okra) or Pusanikai (Ash Gourd) or even Tomatoes to the More Kuzhambu, you just need to saute it well and make sure u boil it before u add it to the Kuzhambu since we dont let this one on the stove for too long.
