Onion Chutney Recipe
Onion – 1 or 2 medium sized
Small (sambhar) onions – 8 to 10 pieces
Tomato – 1 or 2 normal sized
Red chillies – 2 or 3 (depending on size of chillies)
Sesame oil – 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Chop the onions and saute them in the oil.
Add the red chillies and saute more.
Now dice the tomatoes and add along.
Add salt and saute some more.
Turn off the flame and let it cool completely.
Grind it along with very little water.
Using the small onions makes the chutney more tasty.
You may also reduce the normal of tomatoes and add a lil tamarind paste instead.
