What do me and brat have in common? that’s a tough one, we both mite not agree on the answers m sure! that explains how much we have in common 😛 but cooking is something we both enjoy together and is probably the best times we have at home, when guests come and its time to cook!!! (forget the time to clean part :P). This is Brat’s instant recipe last week when my friends came home for lunch…he did it in the quickest time possible and it came out awesome! lets go…Paneer Pakora recipe from Brat’s kitchen…
Paneer Pakora Recipe
Ingredients
Paneer – cubed rather make huge rectangles
Gram flour – 1 cup
Rice flour – 1 cup
Corn flour – 2 to 3 tbsp
Baking soda – one pinch
Red chilli powder – 2 to 3 tsp
Amchar/chaat masala – 1 or 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Water for making batter
Oil to deep fry
Method
Sprinkle salt and very little chilli powder on the paneer cubes and microwave for few minutes/ saute in veyr lil ghee/oil for 2 minutes, keep aside.
In a separate bowl, mix the flours, soda, chilli powder and salt well.
Add water and bring to a medium consistency batter.
Dip the paneer cubes in it and deep fry in hot oil.
Mix red chilli powder, salt and amchar/chat masala in a separate bowl.
Sprinkle it over the pakoras.
Serve with green chutney or just tomato ketchup!
